Find Love Share presents The Slow Fashion Festival - A sustainable fashion and lifestyle event.

Come along for a day of slow, sustainable fashion!

Over 70 stalls showcasing sustainable, preloved and vintage wears and wares for you and your home.
Plus your ticket includes access to the sustainable fashion speakers on the main stage!

There will also be Workshops and a Clothes Swap - limited spots available so make sure to book your spots early so you don't miss out! To join a Workshop or the Clothes Swap, a GA Festival ticket must be purchased alongside the Workshop/Clothes Swap ticket.

SPEAKERS:

Ethically Kate - Kate Hall, environmental educator and joy-filled living inspirer, will share her tips on how to be a conscious fashion consumer and why it's crucial that we change the way we currently consume clothes. Kate will share snippets from her latest book and encourage us all to have a more conscious wardrobe.

Andréa van der Meel - As co-founder of All Things Considered, Andréa is dedicated to increasing transparency and accountability in the fashion industry. ALLTC is a platform for considerate fashion consumers to discover and have a say about the sustainability & ethics efforts of their favourite brands.

The Finders Life - The Finder's Life was born out of Jess' love of beautiful clothing, coupled with a growing concern around fast-fashion and it's effects on our planet. She will be sharing her styling tips including how to curate a wardrobe you love, lots of pre-loved shopping tips, and how to keep your wardrobe fresh and fun all season round!

WORKSHOPS:

11am Bojagi Patchwork Technique with Sustinnoworx - Bojagi is a Korean technique of patchworking using simple hand-sewing materials. Use this technique to create beautiful textiles out of materials that you have saved from waste. This workshop is perfect for beginners, and is a meditative exercise in a fast-paced world.

1.30pm Recycled Beading with The Guru Knows - Create your own unique and beautiful beaded jewellery to take home using recycled and preloved beads!

4pm Upcycle Tees with Fashion Revolution NZ - Learn how to upcycle your old clothes - helping to reduce landfill and giving your clothes a new life! Two ticket options - $25 includes a tee provided by Dove Hospice or $20 if you have an item of clothing you'd like to bring to upcycle.

CLOTHES SWAP:
Gather up to 10 good quality clothing items to swap! Drop off your items the week before the festival at the Find Love Share Studio or the morning of at the festival. The Clothes Swap will happen 1-3pm during the festival! More details will be emailed out to attendees closer to the date.
